Regarding the Minehunter case, the Ministry affirms that any proceedings have duly been carried out abiding by law and contract. According to the two-party contract, the 1^st deposit refund guarantee of the 3^rd phase of this project is due today Nov. 28, 2017; however Ching-fu Shipbuilding Co. Ltd has not yet deferred the guaranteed refund date. The ministry has therefore confiscated the funds according to contract and requested that Ching-fu complete relevant deposit amends within 10 days and fulfill any remaining obligation stated within the contract. If Ching-fu Shipbuilding Co Ltd has not yet made amends according to the contract, the Ministry will void the contract and request compensation for all damages.
